The company spent several years doing market research and product development around developing cost effective robust solutions on providing reliable and affordable internet connectivity in underserviced areas in a bid to bridge the rural urban digital divide. In 2017 DBI IT Group subsidiary entity called DBI Intelligent Technologies T/A DBI was formed

focusing on providing advanced Telecommunications infrastructure such as long-distance Fiber backhole and backbone network, fiber to the premises (FTTP), Fiber to the Home (FTTH) and advanced cabling for Data Centre.
